StitchDiag is a browser-based troubleshooting assistant for people using ordinary home lockstitch sewing machines. A user uploads the front and back of one controlled test seam and adds a few setup details. The product returns up to three possible causes with visible evidence and counter-evidence, followed by one safe next check. The public site also includes free guides for skipped stitches, tension issues, loops underneath, bird nesting, thread breaking, fabric puckering, zigzag tunneling and fabric-feed problems. StitchDiag does not provide a confirmed diagnosis, repair guarantee, industrial-machine guidance, electrical repair, internal timing adjustment or disassembly instructions. Users are told to stop for needle or metal strikes, grinding, abnormal heat, smoke or electrical smell, a hard jam, or any test that cannot be completed safely, and to seek qualified service.
